The AOL browser is not a supported browser and therefore cannot be used to take an assessment. However, you may use Internet Explorer to access your AOL email account.

Open Internet Explorer. While in Internet Explorer, go to http://www.aol.com. Once you are on the AOL website click the 'MAIL' button and log into your AOL email using your Internet Explorer browser.



Log into your email account and click on the link contained in the invitation email sent to you. You should now be able to access your assessment because you are using Internet Explorer rather than AOL to access your AOL email. Please ensure all pop-up blockers are turned off.

If you did not receive an invitation email but instead started from a company's career or job website, while using the AOL browser, please return to the company's site using Internet Explorer.

Instructions on how to delete your browsing history, cache and cookies in browsers supported by SHL can be found below.
 
Google Chrome
(older versions of Google Chrome)
1) Go to the Settings icon (3 horizontal lines)
2) Select History
3) Click on Clear browsing data...
4) Choose the beginning of time from the drop-down and make sure Browsing history, Download history, Cookies and other site and plug-in data and Cached images and files are ticked
5) Click on Clear browsing data
 
(Google Chrome version 63 onwards)
1) Go to the Settings icon (3 dots)
2) Select History
3) Click on Clear browsing data...
4) Choose All time from the drop-down and make sure Browsing history, Download history, Cookies and other site and plug-in data and Cached images and files are ticked
5) Click on Clear data
 
You will need to close the window and open a new one for the changes to take effect.
 
Mozilla Firefox
1) On your menu bar, click on History
2) Choose the option Clear Recent History...
3) Select Everything from the drop-down and make sure that Browsing & Download History, Form & Search History, Cookies, Cache and Active Logins are ticked
4) Click on Clear Now
You will need to close the window and open a new one for the changes to take effect.
Safari for Mac
1) Click on the Safari menu then Clear History…
2) In the Clear field choose All History
3) Click on Clear History

Safari for PC
1) Click on the Gear icon in the top right corner of the browser then Reset Safari
2) Select all the items you want to clear
3) Click on Reset

Microsoft Edge
1) Click the three dots in the top right corner of the browser and click on Settings
2) Under Clear Browsing Data click on Choose What To Clear
3) Select all the items you want to clear
4) Click on Clear
